How does the multi-level approval workflow work?

The approval workflow consists of multiple stages: PreparationVerifying line managerVerifying managementFinished. Each stage requires approval from the designated person or group. Line managers can approve or decline requests with reasons, and management has final approval authority. The system tracks the complete approval history and status.

Can I create order requests for different types of materials?

Yes! The system includes a comprehensive material catalog where you can select from various items including IT equipment (cables, mice, laptops), office supplies (sticky notes, scissors, paper), and specialized equipment. Each material has detailed pricing, and the system automatically calculates line totals and order amounts.

How can I track the status of my order requests?

The system provides a comprehensive overview of all your order requests on the main dashboard. You can see recent order requests with their current status (Request created, Request submitted, Approved by line manager, Approved by management, Declined). Each request shows the date, title, and current stage in the approval process.

What happens when an order request is declined?

When an order request is declined, the system captures the reason for rejection (e.g., 'This is not a necessary purchase') and updates the status to 'Declined by line manager' or 'Declined by management'. The requester can view the decline reason and create a new request if needed. All declined requests are tracked in the system for audit purposes.
