About the solution

Is the Overtime Payout app available in English?

The app is currently available in German. However, it can be adapted for international customers at any time — skybow apps support full localization for any language your organization needs.

How does the approval workflow work?

Each overtime request goes through a configurable multi-step approval chain: direct supervisor, department or regional head, works council (if applicable), and finally payroll. Every step is tracked with name, timestamp, and optional comments.

Can the app handle organizations without a works council?

Yes. The works council step can be configured per department or skipped entirely. The workflow adapts to your organization's structure — no unnecessary approval steps.

Does it integrate with our existing payroll system?

Approved overtime requests can be exported as structured data (e.g. XLSX) for direct import into your payroll system. The export includes all relevant fields: employee, hours, dates, and approval status.
