About the solution

Do respondents need a Microsoft 365 licence?

No. Surveys are answered on a public website through a unique link. Only the people who build and evaluate surveys work inside SharePoint.

Which answer types are supported?

Star ratings, yes/no, multiple choice, free text, and numbers. Each question gets its answer type assigned in the template.

Can we reuse a questionnaire for different products or locations?

Yes. A template is linked to a subject type, and each survey connects that template to a specific evaluation subject. The same questions work for a product, a service, or a branch.

Where does the survey data live?

In SharePoint lists in your own tenant. Responses arriving from the public survey page are written straight into those lists, together with the calculated results.
